Vicky Viola is a designer and blogger based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Over the past 4 years she has established Vivid Please, an illustration and design company that brings her illustrations into life by transforming trivial products into playful necessities with a sense of humor. With a dedication to unique style, her creative talents have cultivated many  popular DIYs and quirky outfit posts, all with a retro twist, naturally!

Products from Vivid Please have been featured in Italian Vogue, Biba Magazine, Goodie Goodness, Stylist Magazine, Storenvy, Uncovet and Refinery29, with awards from Blog & Buy Sale and Confessions Of A Design Geek and Cut Out And Keep. Vicky's DIY tutorials have been featured by Mollie Makes Magazine, Vintage Life Magazine, Nido Magazine, Homespun Magazine, Design*Sponge and Apartment Therapy.     I saw a wonderful vintage suitcase in the Antiques museum in Gloucester. It was £50 though so I couldn’t have gotten it for EITHER of us!

      Ooooooh! I’m glad to hear that you saw it rather than I did! It would have brought a tear to my eye :S £50 is well too much money though – these things are too precious to take on a plane and are more just for show and minimal use. Can you imagine handing that over to Ryan Air? They would laugh their socks off! Haha

    Oh I thought the foggy day was amazing! I wanted to take a picture of the clock on John Knox house, but it seems they TOOK IT OFF!!

      Whhhhaaaat!! No way! Perhaps they’re cleaning it or restoring it? It can’t be gone for good 🙁
      Ah, the fog has been incredible in Edinburgh recently! Lovely crunchy leaves and only seeing spooky white fog lying ahead of your walks… just amamzing! And perfect for halloween 😀
