If you’re a big fan of all things 1950’s like me, it’s probably crossed your mind to get yourself a betty bang fringe, based on everyone’s favourite pin up girl Bettie Page, more than one point or another. But, if you love to rock some big quiffs and victory rolls (also like me, these are my weakness!), you wouldn’t want to chop your fringe so gosh-darn short. That’s what got me looking into fake fringe hair extensions… After all, fake hair is big business these days, so surely that’s a thing!
After several days of searching and researching, I came to the conclusion that if I was going to invest in some fake hair, it was going to be a ‘go big or go home’ situation. Yes, I could just buy some hair off the rack and cut it in, but it was always going to look a bit cheap … and a little more fake than I was prepared to accept. I wanted to find something that you would have to take a good gander really close to my head to know I was wearing a piece. That’s when I started looking to the states to bring out my inner rockabilly chick… and fortunately the God of Wigs smiled upon me and introduced me to Classy Rebel.
100% human hair which is washable, mouldable and has 360 degree coverage? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well ladies, I am totally over the moon to say that not only did the faux fringe meet my expectations, it completely surpassed them! I’m now an uber fan and rock mine whenever my hair needs a bit of R&R from backcombing (or I’m just flat out of time to work the magic for an up do.)
If you’re looking for the perfect faux fringe that never gets too long that it blows in your eyes and doesn’t require months of growing out to transform into another hairstyle, the Delux Bettie Bang style is definitely worth the investment. Classy Rebel also make other shapes and colours for fringe extensions, so if you’re thinking of adding some fakery magic to go with a new look they should be top of your list for searches!
