It’s official; I have died and gone to heaven. Spoiler alert: IT’S PINK!
My Birthday Adventure has taken me on a roadtrip to London, where I spent the weekend with two of my favourite ladies and experienced the most magical time of my life. Y’all know how much I love Disneyland, so this is quite a statement!
First up, Sketch London has got to be my new favourite interior. Isn’t it the most lush place you’ve ever laid eyes on? Those scallop chairs! All that David Shrigley artwork! The pastel pink and gold leaf walls! Ouch my soul. This is enough to push a vintage loving gal over the edge! I was very fortunate to get to experience afternoon tea here, which was the most lavish thing I’ve ever done (everything is served on David Shrigley crockery for goodness sake!), and I’m not ashamed to share that it’s the most amount of pictures I’ve ever taken during one sitting. Can you blame me? Don’t worry, I’ll be posting a review about the experience very very soon, because I’m sure you’re all desperate to hear all about it!
Even though this was a phenominal high point, it wasn’t even the main event of my trip… believe it or not, we had something much more surreal and enchanting on the cards. Something I never thought would happen…
A journey into the small town of Twin Peaks!!
For all you fan’s of the cult David Lynch show, The Owls Are Not What They Seem is a dining experience with a twist, the closest you can get to stepping into the world itself. With Log Lady, Audrey, Special Agent Dale Cooper and a few other infamous characters ready to interact with you, you can rest assure this event is worth every penny. I don’t want to give away too many secrets just yet, but as this is a pop up event that’s only on for a limited time, you best book your tickets asap before it dissapears forever!
What a weekend! To be honest, I still can’t quite get my head around it all – it just seems like I’ve woken from a beautiful dream. Thank goodness I took enough pictures to prove to myself it all actually happened! Super looking forward to all of the picture editing ahead of me, you’re going love my next few blog posts…
