Deciding what to wear to the Abandon Ship Kewpie launch party became quite a dilema for me. Given my current crush for ‘theme dressing’ I couldn’t decide between going in my cowgirl dress or going glam rock… After pulling on the gold sequin trousers the debate was quickly resolved; as if a girl can ever make real decisions when glitter is involved!
Given the modernness of the event I decided that going for a more up to date outfit choice would be a good idea. Seemingly to me that means embracing the 70s, rocking a massive hair do and the most awful top in town. Bad taste can be sooooo gooood! I’ve got a couple of Stay Home Club t shirts and this one particularly seems to go with absolutely everything. It’s just so bad it’s good!
They might not be made of spandex, but these gold sequinned trousers don’t half cling to your body! Que bad taste butt shot 😛 These, believe it or not, were bought at H&M for only £30. And even more unbearably great, they’re in the sale now too! Perhaps the best pair of trousers I own, these are actually pretty comfortable to wear – no butt snags in sight, although I have noticed the occasional snag when my thighs rub together as I walk. I’m ok with having thighs rub in my life though, I love cake!
These have got to be the most bazaar pair of heels I own, but thanks to the ingenious design they’re really easy to walk on! I don’t know enough about science to explain it to you, but if you’re ever passing Irregular Choice and have the chance to try them on, you have to go for it. It will blow your little mind to pieces!
So there you have it! It’s been fun mixing up my wardrobe and I got a crazy amount of girl envy for my trousers at the launch. It just goes to show that if you take a few risks in your wardrobe it can go a long way!
Happy hair spraying and head-banging!
